COAL INDUSTRY DISPUTE LN AUSTRALIA ENGINE DRIVERS’ DEMANDS. RESTRICTIONS ON PRODUCTION ANTICIPATED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day. 11.40 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. No results were achieved by the compulsory coal conference. It seems , likely that the engine drivers will not immediately implement their general strike threat. It is expected, however, that in an attempt to obtain a 40-hour ■ week they will use tactics of limiting j production by holding stopwork meetings on a mid-week day of each week. ■
