A BEAUTY DRINK

APPLE JUICE APPETISING. An excellent and appetising beauty drink can be made with apple juice. Procure two fairly large cooking apples. bake them thoroughly, and while still warm mash them into a pulp. Place the pulp in a jug, add one and a half pints of hot water, beat the whole thoroughly together, and then stand to one side and allow to cool. After cooling strain the juice and sweeten with sugar to taste. Bottle, and drink half a pint each morning, noon, and night. The apple juice will lose its excellent qualities with keeping, and therefore a fresh supply should be made each day.
