Mrs R. N. Palmer. Longbush. is visiting Hawke’s Bay. Mrs Beckingsale. Coradine Street. Masterton, is visiting Wanganui. Miss M. Barrer. Renall Street, is going to Wellington for the weekend. Mrs W. D. Caldow. Wellington, is visiting her sister, Mrs E. J. Bassett.
Mrs C. C. Ruby. Cornwall Street is staying with Mrs Giesen, Paraparaumu Beach.
Mr and Mrs B. Kyngdon, of Waingawa, have returned from a visit to New Plymouth. . Miss L. Goodall. Masterton, left today for Turakina, where she will spend the weekend.
Miss Rona Edwards leaves Masterton today for Auckland to spend the weekend with her parents.
A pleasant evening was spent at the residence of Mrs Lock, Albert Street, Masterton, when a kitchen tea was held in honour of the approaching marriage of Miss Lock to Mr R. Warham. About 40 people were present and all spent a most enjoyable evening. Numerous presents were received.
