WAIRARAPA SHOW
CENTENNIAL display. .ATTRACTIVE PROGRAMME. Arrangements for the Wairarapa Centennial Show at Carterton on Wednesday and Thursday, October 25 and 26, are now almost complete. Visitors on both days of the show will find plenty of interest to arrest their attention. In addition to the judging of live stock on Wednesday which always creates much interest, there arc dog trials in the morning, well contested jumping events in the afternoon. On People's Day ring events continue all day and the entries in Hacks and Jumping events are very numerous. A I big attraction on this day will be the Wairarapa College Band and they will lead the Parade at 2.30 p.m. The night show on Wednesday night with the very big line up of side shows, including merry-go-round, electric speedway and other riding devices, all the latest in side shows and new games | should draw a record attendance. The national dancing events have drawn entries from Palmerston North and Wellington in addition to all the local talent.
