GERMAN REPORT OF ATTACK ON REPULSE. NO COMMENT BY ADMIRALTY. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 9.45 a.m.) RUGBY. October 16. The Admiralty has announced that it has no comment to make on the claim, made by German wireless today, that the U-boat which sank the Royal Oak attacked the battle-cruiser Repulse and torpedoed her. Naval circles in London ridicule this claim as another typical example of German propaganda.
