CROQUET
MASTERTON CLUB’S SEASON OPENED. Saturday afternoon marked the opening of the Masterton Croquet Club’s season. The Mayoress, Mrs T. Jordan, drove the first ball through the hoop and declared the season opened. Competitions were won by the foling: Mesdames Donnelly (French), Copp (stick), Dagg and Shearer (Hurry Skurry) and Coleman (ladder).
