CANADIAN WAR LOAN
ACCEPTANCE BY THE BANKS. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. OTTAWA, October 12. The Finance Minister. Mr Ralston, announced that the first war loan of 200.000.000 dollars for two years at 2 per cent has already been accepted by the Canadian chartered banks. A New York woman has anonymously given 2000 dollars to aid the war efforts. She promises more as her savings permit.
