NEW COLLEGE BUS
FACILITIES FOR AGRICULTURAL CLASS. DONATIONS FROM SUPPORTERS The new bus for the use of pupils of Wairarapa College arrived in Masterton yesterday. The bus, which is of die heavy duty type, has been purchased from the Railways Department and looks very smart after a complete overhaul. It is painted in the College colours—blue ground wtih maroon lines —and has the College crest painted on the sides by an artist. The purchase of the bus was made possible by donations from those interested in the rising generation of farmers receiving the best type of instruction this district can offer, together with the backing of the Parents’ Association. Additional donations from wellwishers would be welcomed. Any further donations may be sent to the Principal, Mr G. G. Hancox, or to Mr H. M. Boddington, secretary of the Board of Governors. . The bus is to be used chiefly to convey members ’of the agricultural class to farms in the district for demonstrations, but it will be available for other school purposes as well. Throughout the protracted negotiations the Parents’ Association has had the cordial assistance of Mr J. Robertson, M.P.
