NO LOSSES DURING PAST WEEK. FAILURE OF U-BOATS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 9.50 a.m.) LONDON, October 12. A Ministry of Information communique states that during the past week there has been no report of the sinking of a single British ship. U-boats are reported to have been in the West Atlantic, but like the German raider reported off Brazil, have shown no practical activity.
