LABOUR PARTY

o DANCE AND CARD PARTY. A dance and euchre tournament held under the auspices of the Labour Party Social Committee in the Y.M.C.A. Hall, Masterton, last evening was most successful. The final of the euchre tournaments was won by Mrs Kilminster and MiBrown, and the aggregate prizes by Mr A. Kilminster and Mrs Ford. The winners of the statue waltz were Miss Butler and Mr Waters, the Monte Carlo winners being Miss Foss and Mr Walsh. Music was supplied by members of Barnes's Rhythm Boys and extras were played by Mr Stewart and Mr J. Barnes. Mr P. Ward as M.C. ably controlled the dancing. The next dance by the Social Committee will be held in the Masonic Hall on Labour Night, October 23. _______________
