BRITISH AIR PILOT
s. RETURNING TO ICELAND. DOUBT REGARDING PAROLE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. LONDON, October 11. The Air Ministry has announced that its investigation of the flying-boat's departure from Iceland following a forced landing on September 28, shows that the pilot did not think he had promised to stay, but the Icelandic authorities thought differently. The pilot has therefore volunteered to return, and the Air Ministry concurred, stating that there should be no doubt regarding the parole of a pilot. He therefore will return at the first opportunity.
