DISTRICT SCHOOLS
TENDERS CALLED FOR PAINTING. A policy of improving the appearance and tiie life of a number of school buildings in the Wairarapa is at present -being undertaken by the Wellington Education Board. With this object in view the Board is calling for tenders. which are to close on Tuesday, October 31, for painting the schools, etc., at Alfredton, Bideford, Clareville, Dalefield, Featherston, Greytown, Martinborough and Solway. A notification in regard to the matter will be found in the advertising columns of the “Times-Age.”
