BUTTER FOR NAZIS
BRADFORD AGENT’S DENIAL. NONE SENT TO LEADERS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 11.55 a.m.) LONDON. October 5. Regarding the reported dispatch__of parcels of butter, before the outbreak of war, to Marshal Goering,- Dr. Goebbels and other Nazi leaders, Mr Arthur Hentzen, of Bradford, in a statement, said: “We hold Post Office receipts for all nine parcels of butter mentioned in the Ministry of Information statement yesterday. These were exclusively consigned to business associates and relatives, among whom was a man named Goering. None was sent to the leaders. We are taking up the matter with the Ministry of Information.’’
