MOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Masterton County Council proposes, at its Ordinary Meeting, to be held on TUESDAY, the 10th day of October, 1939, to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to the borrowing of the sum of One Thousand Five Hundred Pounds (£1500) for the purposes of the acquisition of land and the erection of a Worker’s Dwelling thereon, and for such other purposes as are permitted by Sections 192 to 195 of “The Counties Act, 1920.” The security for the repayment of such Loan shall be a Special Rate of One-One Hundred and Seventy-ninth of One Penny (l/179d) in the pound (£1) on the Rateable Value (on the basis of the Capital Value) of all rateable property in the whole of the County of Masterton. Any person having any objection to the proposed application is called upon /to submit the same in writing to the 7 Masterton County Council not later than the day preceding the said meeting.
