Chester Handicap (20 acceptors): Top weight, Brazandt, 10.9; Caesar, 9.11; Beechwood. 9.11; Red Thespian. 9.7; Olympus, 9.2. The stablemates, Royal Chief and Olympus, worked splendidly on the Randwick tracks today. Royal Chief reeled off seven furlongs in 1.27, maintaining a solid pace throughout. He is expected to give a good account of himself against Mosaic-in the Randwick Plate.
Mosaic, who looks a picture, did a strong mile in 1.52 J.
