DEPARTURE FROM DUNEDIN. MAYOR URGES INTRODUCTION OF CONSCRIPTION. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN. This Day. Today’s drafts for camps at Burnham and the Waikato numbered 160. A big crowd watched the march to the station and surged round the carriages once the men had been checked. The Mayor, Mr Allen, in an address, said he hoped the Government would introduce conscription, thus ensuring service for all according to their ability.
