BOWLING
PARK CLUB. OFFICIAL OPENING FOR SEASON. The official opening of the Pari; Bowling Club’s greens will take placeon Saturday afternoon next. Members have been looking forward to thi; event for some considerable time and only fine weather is needed to ensure an enjoyable gathering in glorious surroundings. During the recess the committee has done everything in its power to make the greens as near perfection as possible and some innovations will be in troduced this season. First year players are admitted at a reduced fee. For the benefit of members the club has installed a telephone, the number of which is 1234.
The following will represent the Park Club at the official opening of the Masterton Club:—Taylor, Jenkins, Burke, Shearer (s).
