HOT BOX SUCCESSFUL IN CUP. MAXAM WINS FLYING HANDICAP. PAEROA, October 1. The Ohinemuri Jockey Club’s spring meeting began on Saturday in overcast but fine weather. The track was in excellent order. The totalisator handled £33,288 10s, against £31,552 10s last year, an increase of £1736. Results: —
