QUEEN CARNIVAL

ENJOYABLE GATHERING. There was an attendance of over one hundred people .at the home of Mrs K. Gaynor and Mi& A. Stempa on Saturday night when a bridge party and dance was held in aid of the campaign of Miss Kilmister, one of the carnival queens. The arrangements in connection with the gathering were complete in every detail and a most enjoyable time was spent. In the bridge games the prizes were won as follow:—Ladies: Mrs Curtin, 1; consolation, Mrs Fouhy. Men: Mr C. Simpson, 1; consolation, Mr O. Jones.
