WOMEN’S DIVISION

* MAURICEVILLE MEETING. (“Times-Age” Special.) A meeting of the Mauriceville branch of the Women’s Division of the Farmers' Union was held at the residence of Mrs E. W. Cheetham. Miss G. Heckler presided over a good attendance. Mrs H. Trass won the prize for the best bloom and Mrs F. Paine that for the competition. It was decided to send a croquet set >to the Women’s Rest Home, Flock House, for the use of inmates. Mrs W. James gave an interesting address on first aid work, which was greatly appreciated by members. Afternoon tea' was served by the hostesses, Mesdames W. and E. Cheetham, R. Dagg and "Miss M. Tildesley. On behalf of those present. Mrs W. J. Milner thanker Mrs Cheetham for the use of her home.
