Hopman and J. H. Crawford (Australia) beat Dave Freeman and Ted Schroeder (U.S.A.). 6-1 4-6, 10-8. In the semifinals, Quist and Bromwich beat Robert Peacock and Douglas Imhoff, inter-collegiate champions, 6-2, 7-5, 4-6, 6-2; Hopman and Crawford beat Charles Mattman and Bob Carruthers, local players. 10-8. 6-3.. 6-4.

In a mixed doubles semifinal. Hopman and Miss Marble beat Bromwich and Miss Wofenden, 1-6. 7-5. 6-4. after boating Crawford and Miss Gcnestanto, 6-2, 6-4, in the quarterfinal.
