MAHUNGA CLUB LADIES' COMPETITIONS. WEEKEND RESULTS. A stableford bogey was played on Saturday by the lady members of the Mahunga Club, the following being the best scores: —Mrs D. A. Hunn 29 points, Miss E. Kitchener 36 points. Miss P. Madsen 34 points. Miss M. Horneman 34 points, Mrs F. Madsen 34 points, Mrs W. Hendry 33 points. The semifinals of the championship were completed at the weekend as fol lows: —Miss C.- F. Polson beat Mrs G. R. Ward; Miss P. Madsen beat Mrs L. M. Roach. The semifinals of the Mills' Cup competition resulted as follows: —Miss P. Madsen beat Mrs W. Hendry; Miss N. Smith beat Miss C. F. Polson. TEAM’S MATCH. CAPTAIN v SECRETARY. After a most enjoyable and interesting match in which the final result was not known until the last pair had completed their game the Mahunga Golf Club's annual contest between a team representing the captain and a team representing the secretary resulted in a draw—all square. Gemmell 3 up; B. Summers 2 up: C. Anderson 1 down; F. Pool 2 down; W. Petty 3 down. MASTERTON CLUB STABLEFORD COMPETITION. A Stableford competition played by members of the Masterton Golf Club on Saturday resulted as follows: — A grade: W. H. Snowsill, 38; D. H. Stratton, 37; C. R. Boys, 34; J. Hornabrook, 33: 11. A. R. Dunderdale, 33; H. F. Coom, 31. B grade: F. B. Bodie. 38; F. Stowell, 34; H. J. Nitz, 33; C. Perry, 33. \' COLLEGE TOURNAMENT SENIOR AND JUNIOR FINALS. k. McFarlane and d. McGregor SUCCESSFUL. During the season the pupils of the Wairarapa College have conducted a very successful and enjoyable golf tournament in which excellent golf was displayed by many of the youthful players. The senior competition was won by Ken McFarlane who defeated L. Pither in the final.
The junior contest went to Douglas McGregor (the youngest player) whe beat — Buick in the final.
