An amusing tale of the experience Suva had with frogs in its watersupnly reservoir was told by Mr 11. C. Smith in a talk to the Christchurch Advertising Club. Frogs had been introduced to purify the water, by cleaning the growth at the edges. Mr Smith said, but they had increased so much that the reservoir had been drained and a concrete wall had to be built to keep them out. This wall in time had to be altered to exclude the persistent frogs.
