The Paris correspondent of “The Times” states that a local attack resulted in the French capturing Obcrperl Fort, in a triangle between the Saar and the Moselle. A batallion of infantry, with lank support, achieved this purely tactical success, taking' many prisoners, on a 4J mile front. The Germans simultaneously unsuccessfully attacked along the Saarbrucken front.
