ENLISTMENT OF AIRMEN. TVTEN are required for entry into the R.N.2.A.F. in the following trades, etc., for the duration of the war:— Armourers, ’ Fitter Armourers, Instrument Makers and Repairers, Flight Mechanics, Flight Riggers, Fitters, Coppersmiths and Metal Workers, Fabric Workers, Wireless Operators, Wireless Mechanics (Electricians), Cooks, Clerks General Duties, Clerks Accounting, Equipment Assistants, Medical Orderlies, Drivers, Aircrafthands (unskilled), Mess Staff, Orderlies Fatigue Duties. After a course of training, men will be posted to Air Force stations in New Zealand. Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years, have passed the 6th standard, be physically fit, preferably unmarried, and, except for aircrafthands, must be trained or have some basic training in one of the above trades or allied trades. Candidates will be selected at regular intervals, so that training can proceed continuously at the four main centres in New Zealand. Members of the Civil Reserve qualified as above may apply. Application forms A.F. 32 and all particulars concerning the conditions of service and pay may be obtained at all of the larger Post Offices, or from the Air Secretary, Private Bag, Wellington. NEW.
