A full programme of events, both physical and cultural, has been arranged Masterton, and if the lesson of the need for wise direction of our leisure hours is learned, then Recreation Week will have been an excellent national mvestMany organisations and many individuals have enthusiastically co-operated to provide an interesting ana instructive programme for next week. The next move is up to the public. Recreation Week can be a real success only if citizens support the efforts of those taking part in the various events. A purely nominal charge for admission to the various programmes is being made, and the net proceeds of the week are to be devoted to the Mayor s Emergency Fund. Get fit and keep fit—physically and mentally is the keynote of this Recreation Week idea. The full programme is listed on this page, and indicates the variety and excellence of the fare to be provided.
