Herr Boehmer, chief of the Foreign Press Department, has appealed to the foreign Press to help disprove Mr Knickerbocker’s allegations and offering to indemnify them for expenses incurred. German officials in neutral countries have been ordered to obtain certified statements of fact from notaries.
