CHANGES IN CONTROL

RUGBY, September 27. A communique from the Ministry of Information states that modifications have been made in the control of the British Broadcasting Corporation. Sir Alan Powell, chairman, and Mr C. H. Millis, vice-chairman, now constitute the board of government. The appointinent of the other members is teiminated. Programme matters and the possible control of the service m an emergency have been transferred to the Minister of Information, Lord Macmillan. . Sir Kenneth Lee has been appointed director of radio relations with the Ministry of Information.
