Mrs J. M. Riedy, of Napier, is the guest of Mrs D. Kelly. Pahiatua. Mrs Brookes, of Masterton, has returned from a visit to Wellington. Mrs T. Shailer Cottier, Pahiatua, has as her guest Mrs S. M. Cottier, of New Plymouth.

Mrs Honeyman. who had been on a visit to Masterton. returned to Marton yesterday. Mrs E. Cross, of Wellington, is on a visit to Masterton and is among the guests at the Prince of Wales Hotel. Sister V. Armstrong, of the Wellington Public Hospital, is returning to New Zealand soon, via the United States, where she will inspect some hospitals. Because of war the Florence Nightingale Scholarship awarded her has been withdrawn as no classes are being held.
