FRIDAY, Saturday, Monday, October 6 —9: As with “Alexander’s Ragtime Band” “Rose of Washington Square,” revives popular music of the past generation and certainly does bring back old memories with its interpretation of songs. Alice Faye, Tyrone Power and Al Jolson, famous singing star of “The Jazz Singers,” are co-featured. (Recommended by the Censor for Adults). COSY. TOMORROW: “Blondes at Work,” featuring another of the Torchy Blane series with Glenda Farrell, Barton Mac Lane, Tom Kennedy, Betty Compsen and Donald Briggs. “Trapped in the Sky,” with Jack Holt, C. Henry Gordon, Ralph Morgan, Katherine De Mille and Sydney Blackmer. OCTOBER 3—5: “Hitch Hike Lady,” starring Mae Clarke, James Ellison, Arthur Treacher, Allison Skipworth and Warren Hymer. “Let’s Make a Night of It,” with Charles (Buddy) Rogers, June Clyde, Afrique, the Four- Aces, the Percy Athas Follies and six world-famous dance bands. OCTOBER G—9: “Bulldog Drummond’s Secret Police,” featuring John Howard, E. E. Clive, Reginald Denny, Heather Angel and H. 3. Warner. “Boy Trouble,” featuring Charles Ruggles, Mary Boland, Billy Lee, Donald O’Connor and Joyce Matthews. REGENT. TONIGHT: “King of Chinatown,” with Anna May Wong, Akim Tamiroff, J. OCTOBER 7 —10: "Honolulu,” starring Eleanor Powell, . Robert Young, George Burns and Gracie Allen. Rita Johnson and Willie Fung.
