OFFICERS GOING INTO CAMP

MEN TO BE CALLED UP NEXT WEEK.

UNITS LOCATED AT TRENTHAM

Officers, warrant officers and noncommissioned officers are at present assembling at mobilisation camps in the three military districts in New Zealand. They will undergo a short intensive course of instruction and make all necessary arrangements to take over the men of theii- units when the latter arrive in camp a week later.

The concentration of the rank and file will start on October 3 and be completed by the evening of October 6. Each man will recive orders when and where to report to proceed to camp. In order that every unit of the Territorial Force may be given its proportionate representation in the Special Force, quotas have been allotted by Army'Headquarters to military districts, and these quotas have in turn been sub-allotted to areas and units. Training camps have been established in each military district. The units that will be quartered at Trentham are as follow: —G.H.Q. (First and Second Echelons); Divisional Headquarters; Headquarters Infantry Brigade; Divisional Signal Company; 2nd Rifle Battalion N.Z. Infantry; Headquarters Divisional Army Service Corps; Divisional Petrol Company N.Z. Army Service Corps; Reserve M.T. Company (Part) N.Z. Army Service Corps; Divisional Postal Unit; Provost Company; Employment Platoon; N.Z. General Base Depot; N.Z. Base Pay Office; N.Z. Base Post Office. ADVANCE PARTY. MASTERTON MEN SELECTED. The following present serving members of the Territorial Force in Masterton will be going into camp at Trentham on Saturday as members of the advance party: Privates G. M. lorns, A. C. Golder, C. E. Goodhue and A. M. Sanson. FURTHER ENROLMENTS. Wairarapa enrolments in the special military force now total 236, the latest recruits being: J. A. Fraser (Featherston), H. V. Donald (Masterton) and J. K. Welch (Masterton).
