“GREAT CLASH” ON WESTERN FRONT

To Begin After Visit by Hitler LYING PROPAGANDA IN BELGIUM ATTEMPTS TO CREATE DEMORALISATION (By Telegraph.- Press Association.—Copyright.) LONDON, September 21. The German newspaper “Ruhr Arbeiter” says that Herr Hitler will shortly go to the Western Front and “then a great clash will begin.” The Brussels correspondent of “The Tinies” says that French families in Belgian cities have received pseudo-official notices of the deaths of relatives called up for service in the French army. In all cases the men had not had time-to reach the West Front, and therefore it is obviously propaganda to demoralise the French in Belgium and thus the Belgians. Following on Press reports ol a German concentration of troops and aircraft around Aix-la-Chapelle, a Berlin communique denies that there is any intention of attacking there.—By radio.
