FIRST AID

NURSING DIVISION LECTURE. The Nursing Division of St John Ambulance Brigade will start its third series of First Aid Lectures on Thursday, September 28 in the Municipal Lecture Room. Instruction in bandaging will be given from 7 o’clock, followed by a lecture by Dr N. Prior at 8 o’clock. The fee for the series of lectures is five shillings, and the test book supplied costs 2s 6d. Each student is to provide for her own use’ two large triangular bandages cut from a forty inch square of white cotton material.' It is essential that everyone should have a good knowledge of’ First Aid. Enrolments can be made at the Lecture Room on' Thursday evening, September 21, between 7.30 jmd 9 o'clock, or by ringing telephones* 1260 or 2565. Dr N. H. Prior examined about 26' candidates last evening.
