FAREWELL GATHERING PRESENTATIONS TO MR R. SADLER (“Times-Age” Special.) A large gathering, of friends farowelled Mr Ronald Sadler at the Anzac Room on Monday night, when a plea sant time was spent in dancing, Mr W. Boston acting as M.C. After supper the Rev R. S. Keenan spoke at some length of the work Mr Sadler had done for the church and as a citizen of the town. He asked Mi' Sadler to accept a wristlet watch with best wishes from his many friends. Mr Boston also spoke. Mr Sadler suitably replied. The gathering concluded with the singing of “Aiild Lang Syne.” On Monday evening Superintendent Tidswell, on behalf of the Fire Bri ■ gade, presented Mr Sadler with a writing case. Mr Sadler has been an active member of the Brigade for the past six years. , Mr Sadler, who has joined the Air Force,'left Featherston for camp today. MINIATURE RIFLES SERIES OF MATCHES.
