DISQUALIFIED FOR LIFE
ECHO OF YOUNG CHARLES CASE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, September 18. Disqualification for life was imposed cn .Cecil Allen Crosby, part-owner and trainer of Young Charles, who filled second place in two races at the last combined Taranaki and Egmont-Wan-ganui Hunt Clubs’ meeting at New Plymouth by the judicial committee of the combined clubs tonight. Young Charles was disqualified for the Whehuakura and Waihi Hack Handicaps at combined hunt meetings, second an(l third places in the Whenuakura Handicap being awarded to Mother-in-Law and Liberal’s Mint, and in the Waihi Handicap to Nereus and Viracious. The committee’s finding stated that Crosby was licensed as a trainer under the name of Allen. James McCormac and he was disqualified for life on- August 13, 1934, by the Rotorua and Bay of Plenty Hunt Club under the name of R. B. Mclntyre. He was a disqualified person under the rules of racing and was guilty of corrupt practice.
