Mrs W. Churchill, of Scatoun, is visiting her mother, Mrs G.’ Hutchinson, Essex Street, Masterton. Mrs B. McLeod, Petone, was a weekend visitor to Mauriceville and was the guest of Mr and Mrs F. Scherf, Mr and Mrs K. Bibby, of Wellington, are visitors to Masterton and are staying at the Prince of Wales Hotel. Mr and Mrs J. Gray, of College Street, Masterton, left today on a visit to Rotorua.
Mrs A. R. Bunny, of Bunny Street, Masterton, who has been visiting her daughter, Mrs McMinn, at Levin, has returned home.
Mrs D. Ogilvy, of Wellington, is spending a few days in Masterton as the guest of Mrs M. R. Johnstone, “Airlie,” Upper Plain. Miss Kathleen Dallas, a pupil of Miss Nola Woods, was a successful candidate in the higher division of the Royal Academy of Dancing (London) examination held recently. Miss Vai. McKenzie, of Masterton, was a weekend visitor to Palmerston North for the annual re-union of the ski-ing party of the Manawatu Tramping Club, of which she is a member.
