MINIATURE RIFLES WEEKLY COMPETITIONS. (“Times-Age” Special.) The weekly competitions of the Eketahuna Miniature Rifle Club were held on Wednesday night. The A grade button was won by W. Dawson after an exciting shoot off with three other members. The B grade was won by W. Taylor with a score of 66. The following were the results: — A grade (69. handicap limit) —W. Dawson, score 68, handicap 2, total 69; M. Clarkson 54, 6, 60; A. Frederickson 62, 9, 69; R. Holford, 68, 4, 69; W. Hornblow 64, 7, 69; F. Robinson, 63, 9, 69; J. P. Sigvertsen, 63, 7, 69; F. Sigvertsen 68,' 3, 69; C. Davie, 65, 7, 69; R. Farrow 64, 3, 67; H. Walton, 63, 6, 69; J. Williams 61, 7, 68; N. C. Petersen 68, 3, 69. Mr W. Dawson retains the A grade “Hornblow Cup” for a further four weeks. B grade. Handicap limit 67. J. Curry, score 54, handicap 8, total 62; W' Curry 64, 6, 67; J. Dawson, 59, 9, 67; W. Taylor, 66, 3, 67; H. Neilssen, 61,'4, 65; H. Steer, 60, 15, 67; R. Hornblow, 57, 6, 63; Mrs McDonald, 59, 7, 66; G. Cooper, 63, 8, 67. Mr B„ Gallagher was the winner of the B grade “Hornblow Cup” for the four-weekly shoot, which ended last week.
