CARTERTON
DAIRY INDUSTRY MILK SUPPLY TO FACTORIES. ("Times-Age” Special.) With the dairy season now in full swing large quantities of milk are being received by the cheese factories in the district. In many cases there is a substantial increase in the supply as compared with the corresponding period in recent seasons. At the Dalefield factory eight vats are in use. PETROL RESTRICTIONS ISSUE OF COUPONS. Officials at the Carterton Post Office were busy yesterday when a start was made with the issuing of cards of coupons to enable private car owners to obtain supplies of petrol. To get the quota of petrol, all that is necessary is for the motorist to sign his name on the card and give the registration number of the car. Personal application is necessary at the post office at which the car is registered. Personal. Mr C. J. Fisher who met with an accident this week through a fall from a tree, is still confined to his home, but is improving.
