POSITION IN GREAT BRITAIN. REPLY TO GERMAN PROPAGANDA (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.50 a.m.) RUGBY, September 15. A German recent broadcast tried to delude the world in believing that London was without milk. The reply of the Milk Marketing Board is found in an advertisement column of today’s newspapers, urging housewives to see that every member of the family hhs at least a pint of milk daily. “Adequate supplies are available and will be,” runs the announcement. A pint per head is twice the quantity of milk hitherto consumed in Britain, oven in peace time.
