The newspaper “Hochi” reports that, the German Ambassador has been ordered to Berlin, ostensibly to recommend Germany to induce Russia to end her assistance to China. The newspaper adds that it is believed that Russia will agree. RUSSIAN RESERVES
ANOTHER MILLION CALLED UP. (Received This Day, 10.5 a.m.) MOSCOW, September 15. A million additional recruits were called up today, under the recent military service law. The “Pravda" explains that this is to avoid being caught unwares.
