ATTACK ON AIR BASE

MADE BY POLISH PLANES. ESTABLISHMENT COMPLETELY DESTROYED. A Warsaw radio report states that Polish planes carried out an attack on the German Air Force base from which the German machines were raiding Warsaw. The base was completely destroyed. This had had the effect of weakening the activities of the German Air Force. The garrison at Warsaw has been reinforced by a Polish army from the west, which broke the enemy line in the rear and brought with them more than a thousand prisoners.—By radio.
