MARTINBOROUGH SALE. PRICES FOR HOGGETS EASIER. The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. Ltd report on their Martinborough £ale as follows: —A medium yarding of hoggets was submitted to a fair attendance of farmers. The -bulk of the entry comprised hoggets of good class, but competition was dull with an casing in prices compared with recent sales. The following is the range of prices:—Ewe hoggets, 225. 20s, 18s 2d to 16s; cull ditto. 18s to 14s; wether hoggets, 16s Id. 15s 3d, 15s to 14s.
