GERMAN PLANE

CONFISCATED BY THE DUTCH. AFTER HAVING BEEN ENGAGED WITH BRITISH. (Received This Day, 9.50 a.m.) THE HAGUE. September 4. It is officially announced that the crew of four of a German plane which landed near - the island of Ameland. in Dutch territorial waters, stated they were engaged by British machines over the English Channel and were finally forced to flee. The plane was confiscated and the crew interned in conformity with the regulations for the maintenance of Dutch neutrality.
