ST PATRICK’S CLUB. ANNUAL MEETING OF MEMBERS. The annual meeting of the St Patrick’s Old Boys’ Cricket Club was held at Masterton last night. Mr B. Howard, deputy-president, presided over an excellent attendance. In presenting the club’s first annual report the committee has much pleasure in congratulating the members on a very successful‘Season’s activities,” said Mr Howard. “The club entered a junior team in the Wairarapa Cricket Association’s competitions and acquitted itself well.” I have to congratulate in particular the various trophy winners. E. Donnelly headed the batting list with an average of 28.37 runs. He went to the wicket 18 times during the season and was twice undefeated. P. Beals secured the best bowling average, securing 23 wickets at an average cost of 9.17 runs. The trophy for the best all-rounder was won by J. Brice, whose consistency in all departments of the game fully merited this popular choice. During the season we were unfortunate in losing our worthy president, Mr W. Green, owing to his transfer to Wellington,; He rendered much valuable service to the club for which we are greatly indebted. The season was brought to a close in the form of a smoke concert which proved a very successful function.”

■ The financial statement showed the club to be in a sound position. Thanks were extended to the patron, vice-president, committee, ladies and the secretary-treasurer. It was decided to forward a letter of appreciation for seiwices rendered by Mr Green. It was decided to enter one team in the junior competition. The subscription was fixed at £1 ss, reducible to £1 for senior members and 12s 6d. reducible to 10s for junior members. Hon members subs were fixed at 2s 6d. Mr P. Greenlees was elected coach. Five new members were elected. The following officers were elected: Patron, Mr H. Keen; president, Mr I. Hart; secretary-treasurer, Mr I. O’Connor; club captain, Mr E. Donnelly; delegate to Wairarapa Cricket Association, Mr B. Howard; management committee, Mr I. O’Connor, Mr I. Hart, Mr E. Donnelly, Mr Lanigan; chaplin, the Rev Father N. Moore; vice-president, the Rev Father M. Dillon and Messrs J. Bradbury, S. Herbert, D. B. Curry, J. Connors, F. Corry, W. Brady, J. Jamieson, W. Orange, J. Lynch, J. McDonald. J. Curry, F. Yule, J. Savage. J. Hunter, J. O’Leary and J. Dwyer.
