Hunter (Oamaru), on points; Pennington (Auckland) beat N. Blake (Christchurch), on a t.k.0.; W. Brown beat J. Parker, on points; T. Batty (Gisborne) beat W. Clark (Greymouth), by a t.k.0.; G. Thomas (Tara-' naki) beat A. Jobes (Rakaia), on points. Lightweight: T. Dunn (Hutt Valley) beat C. Beal (Hawke's Bay), by a t.k.0.; J. Musson (Ashburton) beat J. Ramsay (Otago), on joints.
