GUEST OF ALICE FAYE. The most envied youngster in Chicago is 12-year-old Mary Wertz, who has been invited to Hollywood for a visit by Alice Faye. She will be Alice’s house guest, and will be given a grand time for a week. Mary was the first fan to write Alice a letter five years ago ,and she has not missed writing each month since then. Several of the stars invite certahi tans to visit them every now and again, usually those fans who wrote them their first fan letters and kepi), up the correspondence.
