EMERGENCY REGULATIONS. CONTROLLER APPOINTED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Under the Building Emergency Regulations gazetted today Mr A. Tyndall has been appointed building controller. His post as oil fuel sunervisor has been taken by Mi- G. L. Laurenson. Commissioner of Transport. The function of the building controller will he primnrilv to organise and promote the undertaking of constructional works, according to their importance in the public interest. He has newer to stop work in progress, regulate, restrict and control the use. sale, supply, distribution and disposal of building materials.
