WAR TAXES IN FRANCE

It is officially stated that men between the ages of 18 and 49 must contribute 4 per cent of their incomes to the war budget from October 1. 1940. and non-servicemen of similar ages. 15 per cent from October 1. 1939. Industrial and commercial profits and professional incomes will be taxed 15 per cent.
