The funeral of the late Mr R. J. Young took place in Auckland on Saturday afternoon, the interment being a private one. Among the many wreaths sent by sympathisers were those from the Masterton Municipal Band. Masterton Amateur Theatrical Society and Masterton Orchestral Society. Messrs David Young (Plimmerton) and Alox Young (Masterton), brothers of the late Mr Young, were among the pall-bearers.
