OBITUARY
MR T. J. THOMPSON. The death occurred at Eastbourne yesterday of a former resident of Masterton in the person of Mr T. J, Thompson. The late Mr' Thompson, who was 71 years of age, was formerly in business in as an ironmonger occupying a shop in Queen Street. He was a prominent bowler in Masterton for many years.
Mr Thompson’s wife predeceased him about five years ago. He leaves a daughter (Mrs H. A. Evans, .of Upper Plain and formerly of Kopuaranga) and two sons (Messrs H. and L. Thompson) to whom the sympathy of a wide circle of friends will be extended;
The funeral will take place tomorrow, leaving the Chanel of Hyde’s funeral service at 2.45 p.m. for the Masterton cemetery.
